Northville, MI — Lisa McIntyre today issued the following statement after receiving the endorsement of the UAW Region 1A in the race for Michigan House District 22.
“We know that by having Lisa McIntyre as a candidate, our members and the community will be well represented. With your vision, we know that working families and retirees will be well taken care of and when working families prosper this great state and the Cities of Livonia, Plymouth, and Northville prosper,” said Mark DePaoli, Director, UAW Region 1A.
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the UAW Region 1A for my campaign for Michigan House District 22,” said Lisa McIntyre. “Their commitment to working families, fair wages, and strong communities reflects the values I’ve fought for both on the school board and in our community. Together, we can build an economy that works for everyone and invest in the future of Michigan’s workforce.”
The UAW Region 1A screening committee, on behalf of all the active and retired members, endorses Lisa McIntyre in her upcoming 2026 candidacy for State Representative 22nd District. Recommendation decisions are made by those local committees based on candidates’ positions on labor issues.
