McIntyre also expressed gratitude to the voters, volunteers, supporters, community leaders, first responders, environmentalists, women, and residents who contributed their time and energy throughout the campaign, as well as to the many organizations, including labor groups, that supported the effort.

“This victory belongs to everyone who knocked on doors, made phone calls, shared their stories, and believed in what we could accomplish together. I am grateful for every conversation and every person who made this campaign possible. I look forward to earning the trust of every resident of the 22nd House District and working toward a stronger future for our communities.”
